Robert "RJ" Lemus

Robert “RJ” Lemus is Las Vegas born and raised and is a proud US Navy veteran. In law school, RJ was active in several organizations, including serving as Vice-President of the Public Interest Law Association, competing on the Moot Court and Client Counseling teams for the Society of Advocates, and working as the Nevada Law Editor on the Nevada Law Journal. RJ also served as an extern in the chambers of the Honorable Judge Gloria M. Navarro at the Federal District of Nevada and separately in the chambers of the Honorable Justice Kristina Pickering at the Nevada Supreme Court.

Following graduation, RJ served as a Judicial Law Clerk for Justice Pickering, where he worked on complex civil and criminal appellate matters at the highest court in the state. After his clerkship, RJ worked as a litigator in a highly regarded Las Vegas plaintiff’s firm then as a Deputy Legislative Counsel at the Nevada Legislative Counsel Bureau.

RJ’s practice areas include general litigation with a focus on civil rights litigation, public records (NPRA) litigation, defamation defense (including anti-SLAPP), and business litigation.

In his free time, RJ is likely at Sunset Park with his golden retriever, Cannon, who is training to be a therapy dog.
